Project Description
The objective was to plan and design new administration and production facility for “Draw & Build A/S”. The building must contain offices, storage, production hall with the latest technology and must be designed to fulfil functional requirements and accommodate future expansion.
During this project, we were expected to shift between different roles like client consultants, turnkey contractors consultants, trade consultants and element manufacturers. It was a little confusing at first but ultimately it gave me a better understanding of different roles within the construction industry.
Experience & Learnings
My responsibilities lay within project management aspects in relation to time management, document preparation, contracts, ICT, risk management, case specifications, quality assurance, specifications and control plans, delivery and installation manuals as well as work with the design of the building in Revit (lightweight and heavyweight elements), overall coordination in a shared model. Concept and construction analysis and considerations according to the LCA and LCC.
